Initially, you can remove the pieces on the top layer to reveal the butterfly coming out of the cocoon. By removing the rest of the layers, you will see how the butterfly started as an egg on a leaf.
To complete the puzzle, you have to complete a two piece puzzle ( the eggs on a leaf). Then you will complete a three piece puzzle, a four piece puzzle, a five piece puzzle and then finally a six piece puzzle.
